PS3 Controller with Motioninjoy

Does anyone around here (I'm assuming yes) know how to get a PS3 controller to work for PC? I have windows 8.1, and I've had it work in the past, just forgot the steps to get it to work. I know you can do it through the program Motioninjoy, but you need to download certain drivers so it works and nothing on Youtube has helped me out.

No you have to download the Xbox 360 controller driver then you plug your controller in and it works

I downloaded the xbox 360 drivers but it didn't work

you dont need any drivers for motioninjoy..
first it must recognize the controller, than you just go driver maneger and pres install all drivers
and ta da it should work
and before you go to the game just press vibrate and wait till it stops and go play..

I use PS3 controller, first of all i downloaded DS3 tool to install the drivers, if you search you can easily find the tutorials, then i downloaded Better DS3 that works offline, and give you the possibility of creating different setups fot the controller, if you are interested i can post mine

I personally use DS3 tool. Just plug the controller in and toggle it on.
Very simple and easy
