dabbing message gone disappeared from me

dabbing message gone disappeared from me
I was taking screen shoots so I did the --hidden-pause and then when I removed the hidden paused and applied it I have no dabbing message. I really like having that message so any help?

Also, I noticed that my snapshot isn't working, like it says snapshot 2015 etc etc at the bottom but if I go to set up it doesn't have any of the new fast or slow options or anything, i tried re-downloading the snap shots but nothing worked...
