Graphics card settings are not saving

Not sure if this should go into the help/troubleshooting thread but I'm posting it here anyways I just got a new graphics card (MSI GeForce GTX 980) as a little pre bday gift for myself but now that I installed it and everything when I go into the NVIDIA Control Panel to adjust the settings when I hit apply and close out the control panel the settings are not saving for some reason if anybody could slightly help me that would be appreciated.

Dude, you have a handful of people in TS with you all the time that could answer this question...
1st. Fuck nVidia Control Panel. Use nVidia Inspector. The 900 series of cards gets fucked around with the Control Panel.
2nd. Set it the way I told you yesterday.
3rd. You're done. That's it. stop being gay

Really? My 980ti just won't apply my inspector changes, but the control panel works perfect! Not really sure why though.

The control panel doesn't allow 900 series cards to maximize all the settings. I believe AA was one that it got the shit end of the stick on. You can go up to 16x on inspector, but the control panel won't allow my 970 to go over 8x

Yeah, the only option where I have 16x is anisotropic filtering.
