I've tried holding it pinned 2nd and 3rd gear, tried leaning back on every whoop, tried giving gas and leaning back while hitting every whoop, and tried just giving gas while hitting every whoop. I have no idea what to do, somebody help

Whoops section on 2016 Anaheim 1
I, for the life of me, cannot complete a whoops section on Anaheim for some reason. I usually have few problems completing whoops on other maps, but on this particular map, the front end keeps dropping and there after shooting it into the air.
I've tried holding it pinned 2nd and 3rd gear, tried leaning back on every whoop, tried giving gas and leaning back while hitting every whoop, and tried just giving gas while hitting every whoop. I have no idea what to do, somebody help

thats why you lean back on EVERY whoop, so you flick your stick back on every whoop/press your lean back key on keyboard on every whoop. You don't just hold the lean back. Do it like you where humping your bike (yeah i know but its really easy to understand what I mean).cancinex wrote:I'm on the 450, front keeps dipping.bill moynes wrote:similar to my setup yet i get through the whoops fine 3rd gear lean back every whoop

Ive not tried the 2016 A1 (where is the link?) but when I do whoops on a 450 I have to shift down to first and try to go 3/4 throttle, no matter how I lean back, if I am in a higher gear I end up gaining too much speed and dropping the front. 1st gear on a 450 is still fast enough you can blitz them.

Re: Whoops section on 2016 Anaheim 1
What I found to work for me is check up on the throttle a bit right before heading into them and then get on the gas as I'm heading up the first whoop while leaning back.
If I would I go into them pinned the front wheel would miss the second whoop and I'd go flying off halfway through the section. If I check up a little, the front wheel hits the second whoop and makes the bike blitz through them just fine.

Re: Whoops section on 2016 Anaheim 1
I pretty much find that going 1st gear pinned (250f) works all the time. I can't think of any set of whoops it haven't worked on. So half throttle with 450. That's at least to just get through them, not fast though.
