Re: Ventrillo or Teamspeak
EDIT!
After weighing options for ease-of-use, and bandwidth availability, I am setting up a TeamSpeak server. Here's the info:
Title: MX Simulator
IP: 69.113.218.21
Port: 8767
Type: Clan
If you know how to use TeamSpeak, then it's simple. You don't have to register a nickname or anything like that, but if you do, you get more permissions.
If not:
1) download<http://www.teamspeak.com> ,install, then run the client, and then click "Connection- Connect"
2) click the "Web Server List" tab up top, and in the filter, search for CLAN SERVERS ONLY, containing "MX Simulator"
3) click the "Copy to local Addressbook" button in the lower right.
4) Now just enter a nickname (just make it your MXS name for ease), and click "connect" at the bottom
You should be able to figure it all out from there, if not, go to <http://www.teamspeak.com> and go to the F.A.Q section.

Re: Ventrillo or Teamspeak
Good good..I was able to get the server running locally, but I didn't have anyone outside my LAN to test it lol.
But the server is running 24/7 on my Mac at home...asumming no one restarts it haha.
Whoever is the first one to get this, please let me know if you can enter the server, or if it gives you a "No response from server" message (It means I have to configure my router)

Re: Ventrillo or Teamspeak
Can you try it now?
They seem to be forwarded- I used port-forward.com and PFConfig.
**EDIT** I was able to access the remote server from my computer..You should be able to as well.

Re: Ventrillo or Teamspeak
Aight I'm workin on Vent right now.
I got it to work for my local address, but I'm configuring it for all you guys.
Should be up within a half hour or so?
