1.3 Update is out

This update will patch version 1.2 up to version 1.3.

Window users: mxsimulator-1_3-update.exe
Linux users (untar this in your install directory): mxsimulator-1_3-linux-x86-update.tar.gz

Major changes since 1.2:
- Shader programs for per-pixel lighting.
- New traction and roost system.
- ALSA sound support for Linux.
- In-game screenshot function. Bound to 's' by default.
- Rider positioning improvements.
- New look for the menus.
- New texture memory management code.

Leg position. I remembered now. Here I was hoping the rider would have went to a Gary Bailey school and learned to not ride on his heels. LOL. Then again the default bikes don't have footpegs, so you'd be hard pressed to prove that if you were only using the stock stuff.

Thanks for the new version, it's always nice to have less confusion and having to point people to download snapshots. I like the added menu revisions also.

I agree, the green "start" button makes it a lot faster to start a race. Before I sat there a good 3 seconds looking for it haha.

The menu has a few more small changes since that snapshot, so you don't really need to download it but it's best to always be updated.

They should save to your mxs personal folder.
