First Instance I open crashes?

When I first open the game, no matter if my pc has been on or off, it will crash. Once it crashes it then takes minutes and even task manager won't close it out. I can still play, I just have to have two instances open until the crashed one decides to close. Is there any fix to this? Or am I just going to have to deal with it?

This started happening to me when rider lean was introduced how ever many years ago, had three computers since and does it on all three.

Does it not happen when you go back to the last version you remember working?

It's kind of hard for a user level program to cause a bug like this since it doesn't keep state between launches like the driver does. (Aside from the config file which wouldn't change if the game crashed.)

What graphics card are you using? Did it always do it or is it something that just started happening?

Currently a radeon eah6850 but soon to be upgrading to a 7870. It's something that just randomly started happening. Doesn't happen with the demo either.

Are you using the same settings as in the demo? Does it crash immediately or does it get the title screen up first?

Usually immediately, it hasn't done it yet today. And yeah, I just put graphics on high detail and turn down roost density.
