I have been noticing alot of changes around mxs and they're not for the better. Everyone is asking for money for everything now, and people are not only asking for it but offering it aswell. In a couple of years this whole game is just going to revolve around money and no-one are gonna make content purely for the satisfaction of contributing to the game. We now have people asking for money for skins, people asking for money for bikes, tracks, ,models. I think this forum should be going back to people making content for fun and nothing else.

If everyone stopped charging money nobody would make decent quality shit. the problem is that the people who charge a lot, know what their work is worth.

And that's the problem. pepete's rm250 is an amazing model but he charged nothing for it. Kamloop's yz125 was also a truly amazing high detail model but he charged nothing for it. If you are truly passionate about modelling and making content for the game you shouldnt be asking for money to do so.

You can be passionate in an accounting job, doesn't mean you'll do thousands and thousands of work for free. If you have a skill that others may not have you shouldn't sell yourself short.

It's absolutely shameless. 100 bucks for a bike model? Fuck you! Unfortunately there's too many suckers that need to look cool so badly that they perpetuate the problem by buying them. Tragically hip. Plenty of great free content.

It's their decision how much they want to charge, but there are still people who make free models skins and tracks. If you really believe in content for the good of others without charge, maybe you should get into skinning and modeling I agree the demand for money for in game items is growing though

Steal the software that you create the content with and then charge for the work. Sounds legit.

Sure, if he wants people to pay for the skin, well have fun! Nobody else in the game will see your beatiful skin except you!

Why are you butthurt that there are 3 or 4 exclusive or paid for bike models? Ride one of the other 50 free ones or pay the price. Also the free bikes you mentioned are not top quality compared to andys Ktm, Jay's kawi, or Mason's honda

Are you not looking at the big picture? rF releases all tracks for free. Racing is free. People release stuff for free. It's the things that take so long that they charge. Let's say, a bike took 100 hours to do. At $100 that's $1 an hour. So you should be thanking them for doing it for dirt cheap.

What the fuck difference does that make? EAD. You're Mason right? It's the trend towards paid content that you are fostering. Show me a receipt for the software you made the model with and then my butt will heal. Otherwise you're a hypocrite.

Double Post, You do know that a lot of people use Blender to model and that it's free right? I see Alzheimer's is catching up.

Have you read the EULA for these programs being used to be sure you aren't talking out of your ass on a legality standpoint?
