models in the game

Post by mace-x »

just a question, can you put a 4-wheeler in the game?
and as an example, a snowbike?

It's possible but would require a lot of work. The physics are 2 wheeler oriented at the moment.

i know, i actually thought about making a quad just to see if it would work in game, even though i don't really like quads.turning would prolly suck.

wow, that would be sweet, please do it :D
i think that quads will work better than the bikes, they are more stable.

theres other 2 wheeled base models that we can use, for example we could make a street bike if we really wanted to.

as far as models go, anything is possible, but all of the physics are based around an mx bike. Another thing that would have to be changed is the rider model. It would be a lot of work and it would involve jlv to to get it working.

make a cr500 world record jump bike

or a BMW 650 desert racer

or a 450x endro with working lights

it would be cool to make a replica of the baja 1000

any of those would be cool, give me one specific bike to do though... it takes a little bit to do just one.

why not race models first? why just start to make long distance jump bikes when we only got the 250f and 125's?
I just think we should do the 250 and 450f's first before other stuffs,

in my opinion the 250's and 125's are way too fast. In a track im making i am able to do a 130 ft jump( i know because the grid) in 2nd gear. But then again it could be the grid that is messed up
