Windows 7 Lag
Hey everyone i just bought at HP laptop and it has twice the system memory as my desktop computer. i updated the video drivers and everything and idk why im experiencing serious lag issues. does it have something to do with windows 7?
here are some of the specs
•Intel® Pentium® Processor T4200 (Dual Core), 2.00 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB
•15.6" diagonal WXGA high-definition BrightView widescreen (1366 x 768) display - Watch full-screen HDTV and movies with the 15.6" diagonal display's 16:9 aspect ratio
•4GB DDR2 system memory (2 Dimm)
do any of you see something wrong here? if i cant play the game on this laptop it wont be that big of a deal, it will just kinda suck. any input would be appreciated

Re: Windows 7 Lag
Sounds like the laptop I'm on.
1) Processor isnt that good
2) It would have an integrated graphics card, which are really, really shit
Windows 7 would have nothing to do with it. It should perform better than Vista

Re: Windows 7 Lag
Im on a laptop with 7 ultimate and have no problems unless its a track with high details and then its not so bad I cant ride. Some video drivers even though the latest HAVE been causing problems and it has been recommended to roll back to a previous driver. Try a few versions out to see. Also on 7 you can run a test to see you computers performance with Win 7, goto Control Panel then System and run the "Windows Experience Index" and see what your system is running at.
