dont just hold lean back, just press it before you take off

And to add to that, let off for a quick second, then hit the gas and lean back right as you are taking off the lip of the jump.

This isnt MVA.... dont ride around sitting on the back fender all the time. Stay nuetral on your bike and lean back right as you hit the face of the jump. Also, make sure your shock rebound damping is not low, and make sure your fork rebound damping is not too high.

Changing the rider mass distribution to a higher number also seems to help.

I have mine at .50 (actually had it at .33 when I thought it was at .50 this whole time

).

lowering rebound damping and increasing spring rate in the front might also help keep the front end up a bit more.
not to much though, to much and cornering will become hard.
and on the jump just stand in a neutral position on your bike, then at the lip of the jump pull the rider back.
you want to be pulling on the handle bars as you take off, just leaning back won't help because that will just put more weight on the rear tire, which can actually make it worse.
