After you cut the track so much, the server announces over the chat that anyone is able to black flag you if desired. More often than not some jerk in the server will go ahead and black flag you whether the track cutting was intentional or not. Just make sure to be careful with riding on the edge of tracks when playing online. Not sure that your internet would be the problem here. But it could be that you're lagging enough that even though on your screen you're on the track, the server doesn't think so.

Might be private servers and the owners don't want you on there whilst they are on there.
