Players Ghosting After First Timing Gate?

I'm having a few issues with the game atm, it seems every race i join i can see all other players on the game and my position shows, but once the gate goes down and i hit the first timing gate everyone goes ghost and it instantly says im P1, i cannot see the erode plus on others screens i show up as normal?

I've downloaded the latest snapshot plus all the latest tracks & object packs for the erode tracks i have also tried to connect to normal servers and im having the same issue.... everything was working fine yesterday untill now... any advice?

Someone else had the same problem a couple months ago. (See this topic.) I think it might be some kind of anti DDoS thing from the ISP.
