I'm in need of any advice for tripling in on these tight AMA rF replica tracks.
I can give you my vertical/forward spring and dampening if necessary as well as my suspension.
Gearing: -2, 2 on the 2018 Honda CRF450R 450.
I did try the same jump on the 2018 KTM and Husky and it actually seemed to help (Could just be a placebo effect or I was more practiced in that particular corner). Out of about 10 attempts each I only went over the bars twice and the other 8 I cased it but was able to ride it out.
I find that if I lean back as I'm coming up the jump I yield better results. I'm assuming I preload that rear shock more and this gives me more pop.
I've tried making my rear shock more "bouncy or springy" and I again, yield better results however, I hate the feeling of that rear end being bouncy (not to mention I don't slide out as much with a less bouncy rear end).
Any other suggestions for me?
I'll continue practicing and I'm sure I'll figure it out either way.
Song is LOVE on Kendrick Lamar's newer album.
P.S. Let's hope the real Ken Roczen doesn't look like this next weekend.
