Who else made the mistake to play on one stick?
I'm currently attempting to relearn the game on two stick and in 1st person.
It's a fun challenge and the game feels so much better (Natural)!!
Anyone else do this?

Haha, why do you say that?
I like it because you can shift easily while the other hand is leaning back and turning in mid air.
I find that leaning feels like shit with one atick though. I’ve been playing with 2 sticks for 2-3 days now and the bike feels much better going into rough corners and such. I can actually lean back and turn better.
Personally, I would have problems leaning back while turning into ruts because you have to be really accurate with the amount of stick input.
Give it a try honestly!

1 stick vs 2 stick is like 1st person vs 3rd person. I'd say its split pretty evenly 50/50. Lots use 1 stick, lots use 2. They both have their pros and cons so just run what you're comfy with

I agree. I'm trying to get used to 2. It'll take me a few weeks and if I hate it I'll go back. I've got to give it a fair chance and actually get to where I am with one stick. The view is the hard part IMO. It's completely different which is weird.

That's what I've heard from a lot of people. It's why I'm giving it a try honestly.
With one stick as I lean into a corner (more so MX as SX isn't really rough) I can't lean back as well and If I do it's hard to do. Two sticks so far it's easy to be more precise and you can lean back more often.

If you turn with both sticks, how are you supposed to use a thumb stick throttle?

I mean I use a trigger throttle but I don't know how some people use a button throttle.

I play with one stick, my right stick at that, and I shift with my left joystick. Also I have my clutch mapped to my left joystick (same as my downshift motion) and i can modulate the clutch pretty well off starts by doing that. Then I have my sit/dab on my left bumper and gas and brake are mapped to my triggers. A lot of people think I'm weird for leaning with my right stick LOL

Remembered I had this old fun thing haha, the only thing different today is that the rear brake is on LT, not together with the front brake on RB.

Personally I can't really see dual stick being used unless you're playing claw. Also I tend to be too rough when it comes to sim as I am unexperienced with dual stick. Could never get used to Reflex either. Since it's an arcade game, it's possible to play, but just not that fun. I feel more in control with one, the I can have my buttons as I wish ^^ Also having leaning taking up just 2 axis on each stick feels dumb. Like having leaning to the side on 1 stick, then up/down having shifting (or something) just doesn't make sense to me. I'm just better off sticking with the singlestick-life that I am accustomed to and loves
