i was just testing erode and i love it makes SO realistic ruts i ran a few laps at alcrest and ill put some pics up for you guys.
To those ho don't know how erode works, put " --erode 1.0" in the target line on the shortcut
Example : "C:\Program Files\MX Simulator\mx.exe" --erode 1.0

Re: erode
you need to set it at like .1 or even lower.. 1.0 just takes huge chunks out. makes so not realistic ruts.

Re: erode
if i change it to 0.1 from 1.0 will the rut be smaller(tire size) not a hole?

Re: erode
well i changed it to 0.1 and its to little, i have it at 1.0 and 300-400 roost density, i think its fun having it at around 700 xD unrideable after 20 min of gameplay xD

Re: erode
well if you want realistic, nice ruts. you'll do that. any higher makes them come out like huge chunks.

Re: erode
do i put "--erode .1" at the end of the file "mx-2010-02-06.exe" in "C:/ Program Files/ MX Simulator" so it becomes "mx-2010-02-06.exe --erode.1"? i thought thats what you meant, but then i tried that and i couldn't run the 2010-02-06 snapshot and it didnt work anyway. so im just wondering where i put it, because i would really like to ride with erode on. thanks and sorry to be a noob..

Re: erode
No, on your shortcut for mx.exe, right click it and go down to properties. In the box labeled "Target:" add the --erode 1.0 at the end.
