Some Questions
I have some questions but first a little background:
I've been playing the demo of MX Sim for about 5 months. I've seen progress in myself and it feels very rewarding. I can ride Eskwanbee pretty decent and throw some small whips. I've been thinking about buying the retail version of the game for a while now but I want to make sure my money is well invested.
Is the full version easier than the demo? Is it the same? Will my first laps on the full version feel like my countless demo laps?
Do most serious riders use keyboard or controller? Is it possible to be fast and smooth on the keyboard set up or should I be realistic and buy a wired 360 controller?
Hows the multiplayer server reliability and activity? Are there enough people online at any given time that there is always a race? Does the server ever come down for mantainence or is it laggy?
How about the track editor and demo replay functions? Are they user friendly or will it take months of practice and familiarity to create a decent track?
Is this a game you play to pass time when you're bored or do you take it serious and focus most of you're gaming time on this one?
I just want to get a feel for the full version before I go ahead and buy it. I understand the countless hours put into the creation of this game I just don't want to find myself feeling like I shouldn't have bought it. Thanks.

Re: Some Questions
why ask the question when you just answered it.. or them. ?
if its really that much of a deal to you then dont spend your money honestly if your worried about not getting a ROI out of it, Sounds like you have wasted enough time on just the demo though. If you cant obviously see how much better and what the full verison of the game is worth from looking on these forums with everything that is out then i dont know what exactly to tell you.
you could go blow that money on a night out for a hour or two of fun, OR get this and have tons of hours of fun forever with playing with everyone on here
p.s
the tracks get ALOT better/harder so yes technically they are harder to ride but actually turn out to be easier because of updates and traction so you dont fall and wash out as much. its worth it trust me

Get a controller.

Reliable not laggy and 90% of the time there is a decent race somewhere.

Demos/replays are easy, track editing is hard.
Is this a game you play to pass time when you're bored or do you take it serious and focus most of you're gaming time on this one?
Serious, I pretty much only play this game.
I just want to get a feel for the full version before I go ahead and buy it. I understand the countless hours put into the creation of this game I just don't want to find myself feeling like I shouldn't have bought it. Thanks.

Re: Some Questions
I've got a question about whipping if anyone can provide some insight. As I ride up the face of the jump I'll keep on the throttle, lean back, and lean left off the lip. I do all these things as I float but right near the end of my whip the back end floats up the opposite way and I endo. I don't know why this is happening because I keep leaning left the whole time. I've read a lot about how to whip but I haven't found anything about this and it seems like I'm the only one having this problem? There must be something I'm doing wrong. I recorded a video so you know what I'm talking about. Sorry about the shitty quality but you get the idea. Thanks.

Re: Some Questions
Its hard in the beginning. That usually happens if you try small whips on the bigger jumps. You'll want to whip is so you can just bring it back to the landing, not a bit before, so try it on smaller jumps, then when you can, lower stability, and try on bigger jumps. If you wanna get it out bigger, hit the rear brake in the air while whipping. Practice sitting in the air to bring it back, aswell as rear brake and gas, takes time to learn
