I lost sound a couple weeks back and has still not come back. What should I look at to fix this? Already looked into all the simple fixes but it did not work

Make sure you don't have the volume turned down specifically for MX Sim. Right click the audio icon on your taskbar and check for any app specific settings.

If that isn't it, try disabling Directsound acceleration.
