Demo Splicing

Hello I was wondering If anyone could help me figure out how to splice some demos I recorded together I really want to learn this I saw some old posts about it I know I need Node.js and I have that and the new script but I don't understand how to paste the script into node.js or if that's even where I'm supposed to paste it and I am not sure where I type the Commands to splice the files together. Any Help would be very much Appreciated!
