MX Simulator

Been playing this game a lot recently after having owned it for 5 years and I've just started to post some good lap times (for me, nothing like the pro's) on numerous tracks. But I cannot scrub for the life of me. I can whip just fine and I have watched the Start Your Systems Scrub Tutorial by Kellen on YouTube but still can't grasp it.

I do play on an Xbox one controller using both sticks:
Left - turning
Right - leaning f/b

Any tips on how to do it? I can scrub but it looks more like a whip.

Scrubbing is like a normal whip but the difference is that you got to lean into it way earlier. The difficulty of it is to do it in the right moment or otherwise you will either throw it too hard or you just do a normal whip. It might also help if you sit/dab while you scrub but it works without it as well. I hope i could help a bit, but like everything else in mx sim this is a process of learning
