Really depends what your goals are. Some setups are more "fun" to use but if your goal is to go as fast as possible, there's certain "rules" to follow for setting up your bike properly. A big part of it is preference, but there are definitely "wrong" settings out there if your goal is to succeed in competitive racing.

This is what I run right now for advanced stability, try it out if you like. Make sure not to touch stability slider after setting the numbers in the advanced stability setup. Top to bottom starting with leveling in the advanced stability page:

25
55
62
4
40
100
1000
1
55
2.00
0.13
2.00
5
50
7.5

All credit to the goat Tysen Fresquez, I got his setup back in like 2015 and have been using his stability as a base ever since. There's lots of different styles of setups out there and you have to ride them all a little different. This one just happens to be the one I learnt on and got fast on. The lock angle settings I got from Payson Johnson. Not sure if he still uses them, but when I came back to mxs I struggled with erode and his lock settings seemed to work well in the chatter.

Start out on easy tracks you can find for outdoors to get the basics down such as turning and jumping. Check out Kellen Brauer's videos on youtube for stability and suspension setups, feel free to modify them to your liking as well. As I started getting better I went to his videos for help and even tried his stability and suspension settings and modified them to my liking and I got used to it. They're a bit outdated but it should still do the job. It can take along time to get used to this game because the physics are pretty dynamic so just do the best you can. Learning to do whips and stuff will start to come in as you get the game down.

Those are some of the things I did when I first started playing. Hopefully this was useful to not only you but others that just started playing this game.
