That's a good question. 64 bit is supposed to go in Program Files but it seems to work fine in the x86 directory. Unless there's a good reason to move it I'll probably leave it alone.

If it's fine, better to leave it probably. At least the 10+ years of various posts here won't break if anyone actually googles stuff.

Might be a little too late, but take a screenshot of every page in your settings before updating MX Sim. Otherwise, try your obvious settings. You said the rider was stiff? Change the rider sit/lean spring and/or damping settings!

After some testing, game is confirmed broke though. I'm going stupidly fast with how the current rF tracks are built. I think this is going to really allow for more realistic tracks in competitive racing.

Mac players are having a hard time with this snapshot, can't race rf due to it.

From what I'm hearing.. any word from mac players?

Yup, same been getting worst and worst every snapshot for me so im using Version 1.13

I'm having an issue trying to install this snapshot to my mac. Every time I open the game I see a black screen and it then crashes. I was trying to figure out how to fix it for a couple hours now but can't figure out anything so i'm just staying on 1.13

The more recent snapshots are 64 bit so they're likely to have different compatibility problems under Wine. Apparently OS X uses the fs/gs segment registers in a way that causes problems for 64 bit Windows emulation. MXS doesn't do anything with those registers so I don't think that's a problem in this case but I'm not 100% sure if something in Wine might be affected. (Those segment registers are usually used for accessing thread local storage.)

If you have a lastlog.txt file it might provide a clue about what's breaking.

I cant even use my controller to rebind my settings. Anyone know how to make a controller work?

Not sure what's up, but the 2 big things as of late was when they changed their file system for SSD/SSHD's and when they dropped 32 bit support on 10.15. I'll try to get new guides up soon. Just finished some school courses so should be good now.

So IDK if its because of this update but randomly every month or so my game will just randomly close and the MX.exe will just delete itself from my mx sim folder. Its super weird. Just happened right now in the middle of editing a track

Does anyone know why this happens? Anyone have a fix?
