Bike Setups (Noob Needs Help)

Well, I broke down and finally bought the game. Badass if I do say so myself. However, I'm sick of the arcade physics and I need to know if anyone has a suspension setup that works best for all. I tried so many things and all I do is either lock up the bike constantly or just fall over when I accelerate. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas or maybe some suggestions on what I should do for my own setup. Thanks.
