controller on new pc

So i got a new laptop, and now when i hold the throttle and brake at the same time it just lets off and theres no brake, what wrong

Are you running the latest snapshot or version 1.13? What type of controller are you using?

Xbox triggers are split axis under Microsoft's DirectInput driver. If you use a recent snapshot version of MXS it'll use XInput instead of DirectInput which will avoid the broken driver.
