i have that bt i fixed it i wasnt opening the snapshot i was opening the mx one instead

Awesome. You should rename the current mx to something like mx-old (backup in case snapshot gives you issues) and the new snapshots to mx.

The default install folder is "C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator". Open that folder in file explorer, rename "mx" to "mx-orig" and then move the snapshot exe into that folder and rename it to "mx".
