Server Disconnect Questions

i been playing in the official mxs lobby lately on the 2024 outdoor tracks. Super fun tracks this year. Anyways, why do we get to the last lap and almost everyone disconnects and connects? Is it a stat thing for the sweaty guys or what is it for? Why do people do this, it's kinda annoying tbh. :?: :?: :?:
