Racefactory Gaming whoops

Is it a skill issue or are rf whoops absurdly difficult? like I swear they're harder then real life
RF whoops genuinely make me wanna pull the trigger

rF whoops are RNG unless you have a very specific setup. Anybody who says they're easy has a setup that works with them.

I was struggling pretty bad on this year's tracks, until I reverted to old school 2011 spec suspension.

So here are my tips to get through whoops consistently - others may use different techniques but this works for me. And I've been playing for so long that you're obligated to believe me!
  • Try the suspension below, and enter the whoops really straight with momentum in 3rd or 4th gear.
  • Depending on how much speed you bring into the whoops, you'll either keep really steady low RPM (high speed entry, Glendale 2026) or give it soft half-throttle blips across each whoop (slower entry, San Diego 2026).
  • Keep your rider neutral and only lean forward or back as needed, after you've hit 3 or 4 whoops. And it's very helpful to understand what happens when you do lean forward in the whoops - it can help you pull the "Jett hop" out of the last few whoops, or many times keep the front end from dropping.
  • It's easy to forget, but if you're really struggling bad, just slow down and make sure you hit every whoop with both wheels. Sometimes the second whoop is too "skied out" and feels like a trap - but you can go 10% slower on entry, hit every whoop, and you'll haul ass at the end of the section. (Anaheim 1 and Seattle 2026)
  • It will sound weird but I also feel like the rm250 is the best bike for learning to hit big whoops! It's got lots of torque and moderate power, but you'll almost never loop out. You can focus on timing each whoop better than on a 450, and it's easier to keep up momentum than a 250f. Plus, the rider is super heavy compared to the bike - so it stays really planted.

Code: Select all

fork_compression_adjustment=85.000000
fork_slow_compression_adjustment=85.000000
fork_rebound_adjustment=85.000000
fork_slow_rebound_adjustment=85.000000
fork_spring_rate_adjustment=85.000000
fork_preload_adjustment=85.000000
fork_oil_level_adjustment=85.000000
shock_compression_adjustment=89.000000
shock_slow_compression_adjustment=100.000000
shock_rebound_adjustment=89.000000
shock_slow_rebound_adjustment=89.000000
shock_spring_rate_adjustment=100.000000
shock_preload_adjustment=35.000000
rider_yspring=80.000000
rider_ydamping=70.000000
rider_zspring=100.000000
rider_zdamping=15.000000
rider_mass_distribution=0.390000
I'm typically on a 450 but this suspension has worked well for me on pretty much every dyno.

This year they are killing me and it's only RF 2026 whoops I have no luck on. Anaheim 1 whoops excluded.
I reverted back to 1st gear pinned stock sx days whoop technique I've been struggling so bad on it.

What was suggested, the entry speed and soft blips on slower sets seems to help when I've managed to get through them.

One thing I tried that seemed to help (Gemini suggestion) was bumping up the front rebound a hair and bumping down the rear rebound to not let the front end dip as easy and stay on top.

Thanks KTM!

I'm OG washed up but to be fair, the modern whoops are absolutely out of control. This will help make them more manageable.

Maybe someone can confirm, but I recall someone measuring last year (this year?) whoops and they were 12+ ft apart?
