I extracted the files to Mx Sim Personal folder. The scene is dirt, sky and some trucks. There is no finish line or any thing else. I can see the other files in the extracted vegas 2008 files eg:alpinestar block, billboard etc. They all have various different file extensions.
Thanks

Wanna get us a screenshot? Hit PrintScreen in game, and paste into something and upload it.

Make sure the files are in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\MX Simulator\Vegas2008". It's pretty easy to accidentally end up with "%LOCALAPPDATA%\MX Simulator\Vegas2008\Vegas2008" which won't work. (The game will find the track but the pathnames for the objects will be wrong.)
You should also get the
latest snapshot.

Well, you have obviously put the Vegas2008 folder in the wrong spot. You didn't put the folder into any other sub folders?
Go into your vegas folder, and copy the address and paste it here. To get the address bar, right click near the top of the folder where all the menu's are, and it will have address bar. Click that

A little tip for the future - Only put .saf files in sub folders.
