Hamachi question- please help

A buddy and I have setup a server and we had trouble connecting. We got Hamachi, got on the same IP, and it still says contacting server. Any advice?

Does it say contacting to the owner of the server when he tries to join or when you try to join his server?

It is when me or anybody else goes to connect. But he connects to his own just fine. So I don't know if there is something else we need to do. And it's not a firewall issue.

Are you connected to his network on hamachi? you can't just download hamachi and be able to join his server....u need to connect to his network on hamachi lol

yeah this has happen both ways now i just tried with someone and it didnt work with hamachi so maybe its something i havnt set up right in the Args? im really not sure though it all seems proper and i can connect every time i try but not them but my fire wall dosnt seem to bee reporting any logging of this being blocked none of that.

I don't think its anything to do with the args.... I think it's just a hamachi problem
