Looking for a new laptop

Post by tyrm85 »

Well I'm back and ready for a new laptop. Now, I was wondering if anyone has an old laptop that is still good for gaming, I don't have the money just yet, but I will have the money(hopefully) soon. I was just wondering if anyone had a ASUS or Alienware laptop that they aren't using and do not need. If it wouldn't be too much trouble to post either a link to one, or a picture and the price you are looking for, for the laptop.
The price range I'm hoping i can find one between is 250-400 dollars. Now haha I'm definatly not going to get that kind of money off a tree, but, I would appreciate it very much for the picture and the price or a link, I'm hoping people will not troll on me for this and about my last posts.

Thanks guys,

I was dead set on getting a gaming laptop, but instead I built a desktop. Its the way to go. Same specs as the laptop I wanted and half the price.

the only reason you wanna buy a laptop is that you need to move it ALOT.

i took a laptop because i have to move it every week do a different house, divorced parents.

if i didnt need to move it, i bought desktop parts and build a pc myself. then i had a pc 10 times better than my laptop now.

pretty much no desktop is easy to upgrade unless you spend way too much on a "gaming" pc. alienware, falcon northwest, etc are all good machines, but cost way too much IMO. i built mine for under a grand, and i could have gone cheaper but i wanted to make sure i didnt have to upgrade in the next 6 months! if you buy a prebuilt from dell or hp or whoever, youll only really be able to add ram or change out the graphics card. build your own and you can start small and upgrade as you go.
