Ohk, get your shot right before complaining again, it isnt illegal.checkerz wrote:You should search back a few pages and read our conversation. I don't feel like having it again.Anarch wrote:People just let Attacker do his thang! He is great at what he does.
I'd highly recommend attacker not try and sell skins for MXS. I stated my case before, and I'll continue to protect my investment - in this case it is rF and MX industry companies coming on board as sponsors. Some of those make graphics kits and gear. Not ready to have them leave because they are seeing someone selling their stuff illegally.

Get your shit right, he isn't as much concerned that it is illegal. He is worried that all the money and work that has been put into getting MXS some good sponsors being thrown down the drain because of a greedy teenager that has his head up his ass.

I swear this kid will never learn. And I love how you charge by the hour OVER THE INTERNET. Justin I guarantee he will rip you off, then again 20/hour is already a rip off.
Im still in complete shock that anybody would pay for a skin for a game. Lmao

It is as soon as you receive a cease and desist letter from the creator/company in which you are ripping off designs from. And even without...attacker5 wrote:Ohk, get your shot right before complaining again, it isnt illegal.checkerz wrote:You should search back a few pages and read our conversation. It is a form of intellectual property law. It protects an author or creator from his or her stuff being pirated and used without permission.
There are limitations on Fair Use (17 USCS Sect. 107). Several factors will be taken into account, if you are attempting to make a profit, the nature of the work, the size of the portion you use, and the effect on the market place.

When you're selling a reproduction of something that's sold specifically as a graphics kit, you're not covered by fair use anymore in my opinion. At the minimum it's a gray area and I don't want to attract the wrong kind of attention in this forum so I'm going to dump this topic.
