It's been a long while since I picked up MXS. Alot of things have been added since then, good stuff. My suggestions at moment are:

- Rider fall off, run back to your bike
- Custom points series. Either online / offline so you can choose tracks / laps / points allocated, choose 1 / 2 moto format etc.
- More gas gyro effect. I honestly don't ride so I cannot comment on how authentic this is in game? If so I'll accept it and learn around it.
- Give AI riders custom names (load from a text file?)
- Lane pick in points series
- Ability to race more han one recorded ghost. (I gueses this is possible remembering how ppl used to merge ghosts before online came out?)
- Help file / in game descritopn of the bike settings. For someone like me, I don't have a clue what to change and if this will help me learn the game
- Ability to have dab when stopped off, but still be able to auto line up when stationary and crashed. I prefer manual dabbing for cornering but at the moment I crash so many times I can never easily get back strait on the track, forcing me to ride with auto dab thing on.
- Some JVL tracks like those in the game but SX style with AI at about the same standard. I'm not good enough for online yet but enjoy a little ride against AI.

Sorry if any of these are irrelevent, already said and actually present. Like I said it's been a looong time since I played any MXS and I don't have any time to read through 188 pages of suggestions, sorry. I'm also not putting out a list of demands :P Just a list of things personally I'd like hehe.

Rider falloff: JLV said that was high on his priority list now, from memory
Custom point series: That is possible. There is one for the stock tracks in the game already. I worked out the format of the series file once, but I dont have it with me right now. As for online, that would be cool.
Gas gyro effect: Its there, and I think it is realistic.
AI names: Don't think many play with the AI, they usually play multiplayer. But I guess some people still learning the game use them
Lane pick: It is possible isnt it? Its possible in multiplayer now, with "server, gate #"
Help file: While there is some info on the forum, there probably does need to be something released with the game, as not everyone uses the forum.
Auto dab: Not sure what you mean by that. Try playing with the max dab speed.
AI in SX: AI are extremely hard to train. It would be impossible to make them ride good in SX

Cheers for the reply.
About the dab, I refer to how your leg automatically sticks out when 'on when stopped' is selected. I havnt noticed that dab speed so I'll try and play with that. I'm after a setup where the leg only comes out when i press dab, but when i crash it helps me get strait.
I am in the stage of learning and so wana race AI rather than getting waxed online =P
Shame about the SX ai. woulda been nice.
Cheers

A selection tool for the editor would be nice. Just a basic square that we can change the size and rotation of. For example, in the editor you put a box around where you want a jump to be, go over the box with linear add and only the area inside the box is affected. It takes me forever to make jumps that aren't all lumpy on the sides because I couldn't keep a straight line. I hope there isn't something like this already in the game that I'm missing.

I had a play with the max dab speed. This makes cornering better. What I think would be cool is if you could have a set up where you can dab your foot out though by pressing the dab button. Like when you have dab min at 20 and 'dab when stopped = off' then you can manually choose to poke your leg out. This is how I like riding, expect when I crash I find it very hard to get back facing the correct direction, which is where the dab when stopped helps. Is it possible to set up so you can have dab when stopped off, but also an option to 'correct direcction when stopped'. I know thats kinda the point of the dab when stopped, except I found it impossible to get the cornering, and leg out to help feeling the same as when its off.
I had a look about the championship editing you said, Im guessing its a file only you / JVL can change due to there being no settings files for us to see?

Add just a little lube to my fronwheel so i dont have to crash in every 4th corner. at least make an option for it so we newbies can start with that and then maybe switch it off, when we got to "Pro". thanks

I really like the 'pucker factor' setting that is there now, but it only affects roll damping. I'd like it to affect steering damping too. When you are in the whoops the new setting will keep the roll in line but if you have the analog stick pressed even just a little bit left or right, my bonehead rider will interpret that as cranking the wheel really far, when I just want a little bit.

Can we have an option to turn off the "feature" in the track editor that constantly resets your highest and lowest elevation factor and adjusts the terrain.png's brightness/contrast to go all the way white to all the way black?

Its REALLY annoying when you use photoshop for disp mapping.

Check out Servatis' MXS Bike Setup Application. It has a very detailed help file explaining all of the bike settings.

When you create the terrain, put a white spot and a black spot somewhere near the edge of the map. Don't forget to erase them before you publish it.

I would like to have the option of switching between automatic and manual shifting by pressing a button without pausing.

I have been a long time manual player, but recently I was wondering why in the hell all the really fast people racing A2 are still using automatic!? I tried it out again for the first time in months, and now I understand. Perfect drive everywhere is essential to consistently making supercross sections.

However, the one area of the track that the automatic is a definate disadvantage, at least for my riding style, is in whoops. The auto works well in whoops where you can keep it pinned, but to slow down in whoops for an upcoming corner, the auto doesn't work. As soon as you let off the throttle it comes back to first gear, and who ever rides whoops in first gear?

Since I can't think of any way to re-program the automatic tranny to stay in a higher gear in whoops, it would be easy enough to have another button that I can push on my controller right before and after whoops sections to temporarily use manual shifting.

Any thoughts?

man i was just had a thought if the 450s were out, We could have the top (fast guys ) race the premier (450s) and everyone else race the 250s. I think it would split everyone up more and allow more people. Just two different nights of racing.

well at least for the next big series :P

as we do right now, run a basic program on fastest laps and riders who perfer to be in the 450s.

Or just run the same heat setup we do now just double the size of the heats/list and take 10 #s from the list to move to 450s.

maybe we could see 450s come in on vegas :)
