Sorry for no visual aid, but try and imagine this..
If we had an editor, maybe you could implement it into the track editor, where we could draw keycams from the editor. Or place points in order along where you want the keycam to go. Another problem with keycams is the sudden jerky transition as it goes from one ¨cable¨ to another. So we could have a ¨smoothing¨ tool we could use the smooth the line (keycam) along the points. This way we could get the keycam to turn and not go in one straight line. Another option we could have is speed of keycam. Ex) at x time the keycam is at x spot along the ¨cable¨. To finish it off, and this is a longshot, but the ability to playback the keycam in birdseye view. So you can see the rider(s) move and watch if they keycam is doing what you want it to, to tweak the camera angle and such. Hope I made a little sense out of this
People more experienced with keycams might not have the same issue as me, but I feel like this would help make videos less time consuming. Right now, it takes me a solid 10 minutes just getting the right shot I want. With an editor, we could get the exact shot we want, and not struggle with keycams for 10+ minutes.
Obviously not priority, just a thought.
