My Facebook is full of my family, and a lot of the people on here that I'd talk to may get out of hands. I don't want them posting something on my wall that my family wouldn't like. I know you can delete things like that from the wall, but I may not see it in time for my mom to see a post that says, "GOOD JOB GETTING LAID DUDE!!!" Just a hypothetical, but there's no way to stop that from happening without not adding those people as friends
