I say we get the sounds of this kid's KX250F for our 250F's,haha.It sounds so awesome. But I could only hope the sounds are at the top of JLV's list after these next few udates.<And after his motherboard got fried.
Anyways,here's the video.

I prefer to describe it as a kid trying to fart though a straw....PEEEERRRRRRRRR peerp PEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!

Should be......BRAAAAAAAAP!!!!!

But seriously, realistic sounds would take this game to a whole new level and should be placed near the top of the to do list.

the biggest problem is jlv hasn't given us any idea how his sounds works. I think he has it generated possibly, but i would honestly like to see just a basic idea so we could look at ideas. I don't believe jlv will make this happen since he does not have a bike, so its up to us to figure it out with conjunction of him......

The hard part is gettn a solo sound recorded of a bike, so someone needs to record or rip sounds from video file like above.

my only idea is with the throttle is to have guessing 10 or so recordings of a bike REV going with the RPMS. This would be a a very small clip of the bike at a certain throttle position for the sound file, and each record you would go a little past the previous spot to get the increase in sound and power.

Something along the lines of here to match the RPM

sound1> 100
sound2> 300
sound3>500
sound4>700
sound5>900
sound6>1100
sound7>1300
sound8>1500
sound9>1700
sound10 2000 + RPM

As he said in this thread, he currently has the sounds being synthesized, but would like to switch to crossfading in the future

i just read what jlv wrote so is it being 100% emulated or is it going on a base sound ?

Its theres some base sound or something similiar or audio file it is based off, would you consider sending/uploading for some of us to edit it with with sound programs we have ? I think even if we enhanced certain rates/frequencies of that sample it would make it sound worlds better or use filters. Maybe not sound real but a lot more of a bike then what ever you wanna call the hummmm we have now.

That's what I'm saying, Not using "Real" bike sounds.

Just tweaking the synthesized sound to have more of a deep/resonating tone. (if that makes sense)

BRAAAAAAP!

I think if jlv lets this out to a select few of us we could have something, i know my sony acid audio program could do wonders on any sound file to make it sound very distorted or whatever i chose with the right filters. it would be really cool to see what would could come up with.
