i agree on the gear selection to with th gear selection being bigger should i say today it can take awhile lol. even if the menu you pick it at stays the same but as you scroll through them it shows like the template picture or screenshoot for each one

It's getting easier since now people are using separate models for skin packs, all of the skins are directly by each other from one pack. Just have to learn what each one looks like.

Kind of bringing this topic back from a ways away, but I thought of something.

You know how you can customize the background image? What if there was an image with a skin (called for instance crf250-2010crf250-Geico Powersports_prev where a shot similar to that would pop up?

I think it would be cool to have that. You could just make a little 128X128 preview picture of your skin. Same goes for tracks.

I just don't know where you would fit it in to the menus.

Well maybe we could have the menus a bit smaller and moved over to the left. Then, whatever you are picking (gear, bike) would have its preview displayed.

We need the ability to choose a boot skin, goggle skin, and neck brace skin (seperately) before this though.

I think we really need drop down menus for gear/skins. With all the new stuff being named properly (i.e. rider_body-Scott450-skinname) we should have drop down menus that will separate the gear according to their brand name. Then we wouldn't have to cycle through 9 pages of skins just to find the one you want.

ddmxv2 > skin
Scott450 > skin
thor core 2011 > skin

etc.

I admit, old gear would still have pages and pages, but if the creators start using their resources (the model DJ uploaded to rename and include with skin packs) it wil make choosing a skin much much much much easier.

yeah, but same for bike that we can choose diffrent pipe skins, handlebar, handguards...

I think pipes and bars should be attached to the skin, but an option to just turn handguards on/off like MVA would be pretty cool.
