Game Suggestions
Re: Game Suggestions
"try-out for 10 days" of the full game? instead of 2 tracks. Those skins and tracks is biggest reason to buy the game. I think. Convincing.

Re: Game Suggestions
Nope. Thats just asking to be cracked
Re: Game Suggestions
I want something so i can just change back to old suspension setup like a button in bike setup menu, i have got like sooo much slower

Re: Game Suggestions
I've been trying to figure out a way to get my joystick's linear inputs to be translated into something nonlinear. It would be nice if there were a setting in game to change the 'amount of nonlinearity'. I just played a demo of 'wings of prey' and they have implemented this VERY well. There is a display that shows the actual input along with the logical input. In other words it would be nice to have small displacements in the joystick to be weighted less. For instance, if your stick can be moved from -1 to 1, with center at 0, then you move it 0.5, it would be nice if that input were adjusted (say by squaring - maybe not that harsh but you know what I mean jlv), so that moving the stick by 0.5 from the center is interpreted by the game as 0.25. But then the outer limits of the stick will be weighted more than usual, so you'll still get full lock - i.e. (1)^2=1. It would be nice to make nonlinearity slider, and you could probably do this bezier curves or something similar.
I have tried to find a program that would do this outside of mxsim by modifying the directx input, but haven't been successful. It would be nice to have it built in anyway.

I suppose I should have said I have tried to find one but all that I find (like dxtweak) don't have the nonlinearity-type adjustment. At least I haven't found it. You can shift the curve, change the slope, but it is still linear. Changing the slope to something less aggressive doesn't help because you end up not getting max input, i.e. you can't go full lock. If I am just missing the spot where you can change it, that'd be greatbecause I'll go in and change it, but I haven't found it.Phathry25 wrote:Logitech's DXTweak.Prologue wrote:I have tried to find a program that would do this outside of mxsim by modifying the directx input, but haven't been successful. Re: Game Suggestions
Here is a diagram of what I am thinking. The blue line is how it already is by default (not modified at all). The red line is the nonlinear modification.

Re: Game Suggestions
Can you make the LOD and Mip detail change if you change the Field of View, so you get higher detail when you zoom in?

Re: Game Suggestions
The mip detail happens automatically. The problem is for more distant textures the resolution just isn't there even at the top level.DJ wrote:Can you make the LOD and Mip detail change if you change the Field of View, so you get higher detail when you zoom in?
