I have photoshop, although a free alternative is GIMP, pretty similar in a lot of ways to photoshop, but is free

not in my recycle bin.... didnt think of checking that but i just did and its not there. ive got gimp but iv never used photoshop/gimp to create a track so i will learn how to and create FatCat alongside ponza's track when i get the game again

I'll happily test the layout once you've roughed it in and make any changes if neccessary. MrMx it would be best to make both tracks I reckon. That illustration is completely wrong so dont use that for reference. I'll edit it tonight so that it is the proper layout. Also for whoever is making the track and hasnt been, both tracks are raised up off the ground for drainage purposes which gives the whole facility a unique look compared to most tracks. Also be careful when watching the gopro videos because there is a practice track and a race track.

All the videos from the start of 2011 til now are the new layout. The image you posted were the original plans for the new layout but I think they were mainly to show the general layout of the whole site rather than the tracks. I'm drawing the new layout now for you so I'll upload it later.

Like I said before just make sure you know whether the video you are watching is the practice track or the race track.

In terms of the bumps and roughness, definitely Benkeboda. Basically the track is like Benkeboda but on flat ground with less ruts and more big, railable outside berms.

The traction from either of those tracks would probably be fine though because they're both quite sandy if I remember correctly.
