Do it! Have someone take a video of you giving someone a swingarm bump!
I didn't try this online at all, just with the AI on x1b. Whenever I made contact with them it seems like my front wheel gets jerked one way. Might be screwed up because I was trying it with AI that can't do any sort of defensive riding though.

it seems like you dont have to touch the other rider for it to happen, i think it would help a lot if you fixed that.

I honestly think the collisions are starting to kill the online expierience. Every single race it takes one dumbie and they take out the whole pack. Its almost impossible to get going again when if u barely tap anyone you just flop over instantly. It causes a big cluster of downed riders. The old way was much better. You could bump bars in corners , make aggressive passes and not have to worry about floppin over. Its really out of hand and I hope it either gets fixed or we just go back to the old way for the SX series.

Not 100% what you're looking for, but I think it's pretty close... Jump in 1:30 to get to the action.

Another example, sort of, happens on lap 1 in front of this guy.

You'd be surprised how common it is in flat track to move people, finding good video of it is hard tho, lol.

As I keep saying, there needs to be some sort of force threshold before it kicks in. Its very unrealistic that you would lose control of your front end when you collide at a couple of ft/s (relative to one another)

Off topic, but I think it's amazing in that first video how much the forks flex and twist in relation to handlebar position. Could be the wide angle lens making it look like more than it is though.

I'm 100% with JLV on this one. Those who don't like the changes are looking to be able to take everyone else out with no consequences, it's pathetic really. Be a man and use your speed to win instead of your ramming ability. It's disgusting the way people will get a bad start and just charge into the pack and take everyone out, such a cowardly move. Grow up and ride clean, learn to use the brakes a bit. I've had tons of close racing since this update. What you guys are looking for is not close racing, it's demolition derby. I'm really glad JLV has some sense over the rest of you idiots. Now, leave him alone about this so he can get these SX tracks out for us and learn some control.

Nobody said we wanted to take everyone out with no consequences. We just don't want the steering to be locked when you barely hit someone. With this update (I'm talking about what I've seen during the AX series), you often get a huge pile up in the first turn. Not because someone wants to take out someone else or because they don't use brakes but because two riders collide, their steerings are locked and then they take out the other riders because they have no control over the bikes.
btw, saying the rest of us are idiots don't make your point more valid.

I agree with yFMX, the front wheel lock was ridiculous in the AX. I went real slow in first gear trying to ride smoothly past everyone and didn't even touch anyone. Guess what happened? Yep, I got flopped right onto the ground.

Warrior, that's not the point. What we want is close racing and bar banging that can go down IRL without people falling. As of now, you can't even touch anyone at all without falling.

That's pretty impressive! My guess is it happens more in flat track because you can actually support yourself with your foot at speed there.

It isn't that hard to find clips of people surviving front wheel contact. It happens a couple of times in this video:

It's just that when it happens 9 out of 10 times you'll go down. With the stabilizer running at 1000 lbs of torque, the person you hit is more likely to go down. For a long time I wondered why bikes didn't "trip" right in MX Simulator. Now that I've know why it didn't work right I'm definitely not going back to the old way. I'll revise things but we're definitely not going back to the battering ram.

Now that I have A1 done I'll tweak the previous update a bit.

The people in the vid. look so fanatic :P , and they ride 2strokes hell ye hehe..
I'm not sure what to think of the collision system, it makes sense looking from both sides of the story, I just feel like you should be able to survive contact at lower speeds, whether it's gonna be hard or not, should still be able to try at least I think.
