I never have that problem, unless I throw a huge whip and my front lands a bit sideways.

what about this, your going down a straight at lierop say, you hit a bump back end goes skywards but you could still save it with ease, only then the front wheel just goes ballistic and washing out every where, then you just start kart wheeling down the track, this all so happens a lot!

Make a Topic and STICKY it of what each adjustment in the menus do .... The pros and cons of each
I know I dont understand what alot of the adjustments do and that goes for the hidden menu also
This way people would know how to set up there bike instead of geussing :)
The game does not come with directions

Even better, include the description in the game. Like they did with Motorsport Forza. It could be a pop up balloon (that could be disabled) or a scrolling text box at the bottom or something.

Stocksy I have the same problem, where the front end just disappears when I really don't think it should. It frustrates me a lot too - perhaps also my biggest frustration with the game.

I've been playing with traction values on my track and they have a huge impact on how the game feels. The stock values really, well suck, compared to values with more traction - things like landing jumps are way easier which I'm not sure is really intuitive to me (what does traction have to do with landing a jump??).

I totally agree with JohnnyMac that it feels like the bike dosent have any traction "on the sidewalls" (when the bike is leaned at all). But JLV is addressing that eventually.

ok, when ever i land on my front wheel the slightest bit with out the rear wheel being on the ground the front just gives in and washes out, making you go crazy flipping every where, it's really starting to piss me off! is any one else noticing it? this is the only fault i have, i want to throw my computer through a window because of it lol, any way i hope you think about what i have said
thanks
Bump up your fork compression. Im guessing you have it set low for lierop or some rough track, and that will cause it to not take a hit. If you bump it up, it will be a little harder to go fast, but you will be able to land on the front wheel. It is not a problem with the physics, have you tried endoing in 4th gear pinned...probably not going to end up too nicely.

the balance between front and rear is much improved with the new rider, there's scope within the suspension and rider settings to alter the balance,of course suspension set-up is always a compromise,so while you improve one area you'll lose out on another, finding a set-up that suits your riding style and the track is a challenge.

No its not
Trying to get a grasp on these physics is what im trying to do
I dont know why its such a big secret its like everyone is scared someone might find out how to go faster than them so ...Oh lets keep it a secret..
First you need to understand why the physics react they way they do and then set your bike up to accomodate

I have explained everything about the suspension already in other posts..... go look it up.

If you are not that great at this game, i would recommend softening up your suspension a bit. As you get faster, you generally will need stiffer suspension.

Oh i absolutely agree. I believe JLV mentioned something about putting that into the next update, along with a few other minor details in the menus.

I think the first person view needs a makeover. Right now the camera is in his chest and i think it needs to be moved up to his eyes. Right now we can't see the front fender and I think we really need to be able to see it because that's what I see in real life when I ride. I think it would be really cool to be able to line your front fender up with a rut. But the bigest problem I have with the current first person view is that when you are in the air sometimes you can't really see the jumps below because the front end is up to high. If some people don't agree I would at least like there to be an option for this view. If nothing else let us enter values for the camera's position and angle and such. Below is the current view and my propossed view at the same exact spot during a jump on KTT. As you can see it is hard to see where you are going to land in the first pic but the second pic is much better. Let me know what you think.

About the 1st person view, I think some track IR support would kick ass :P .
