Don`t know if this is possible
having mxs trace ruts in a png file where you ride around the track so you can see where you ride on a image file
like a recorder then track creators could better see where to make ruts

Glad you explained how Phat...
If you enable a light erosion (look in the faq in general discussion), you can ride around, and then refresh the shading. This will draw red lines onto the shading.ppm file.
Conversely, it could be done better if someone made a program that converted the lines_expert etc files to a png drawing in a higher resolution
