MXS for Mac
Yeah yeah yeah i know about all the different ways to use mxs on my mac but its cost me nearly $100to run the game. Dont be a dick about me having a mac, ive had pc's before and they've been shit. Please JLV i know a few people that have turned this game down and not bought it because of it not being available on macs. It would make it a hell of allot easier for all mac users to play this game and would bring in more people who use macs.

Re: MXS for Mac
Why is that? Bootcamp comes installed with OSX and is meant for dual-booting, all you need is a copy of Windows.KTM880 wrote:but its cost me nearly $100to run the game.
I think using any type Visualization software is horrible for gaming.

Re: MXS for Mac
Crossover and other bullshit like setting up the remote. I have a copy of xp and i have tried so many times to get it to work on boot camp but i get to this one part here you have to press F2 which just makes the screen brighter -.- I dont want to have to pay $300 for windows 7 or anything for vista, because it straight up sucks.BrutalMX wrote:Why is that? Its awesome.

Re: MXS for Mac
My problem is i cant afford to buy windows 7. I think $300 is a huge rip and that it would be cheaper to just buy the game in a mac format.toonys66 wrote:I play with bootcamp and windows 7 and it s just awesome on the imac!!!! feeling like i m playing on PS3!!

Re: MXS for Mac
Newer macs make it even easier to use bootcamp or parraells or a virtual drive. There are tons of ways around it, but once again a laptop is not going to play as well as a desktop espcially since this game is optimized in a different manner then most other games.

Why bump it? you found a fucking solution..
And jlv isn't going to convert the game to work on mac. Mac users should figure it out, mac is only good for media editing and web browsing. GET WINDOWS (or linux). And It would cost more for jlv to make a mac version than he would earn profit for. So it's kind of pointless...

Re: MXS for Mac
I don't want windows it sucks, i've had 3 windows computers and all of them just sucked, the laptop i got had serious problems straight out of the box and no one from microsoft would help or from the shop. My desktop froze all the time and again no one knew how to fix it they were the most un trained retards ever. Boot camp slows my computer down and causes it to lag and crossover takes 15 mins just to start the damn game... I asked jlv and he said there was nothing stopping him from converting it and that he just thought there were more important things. I've already paid $40 for crossover and it kinda sucks. Why should mac users be forced to pay extra for the only good motocross sim. I think its just bullshit, just because i have a different computer. My mac is the only computer that didn't give up after a year or so, i dont know about linux but i want to be able to play my favourite game without major lag and with out spending money that i don't have just for one game.Stickerz wrote:Why bump it? you found a fucking solution..

Re: MXS for Mac
Oh yea because the hardware sucking is totally the OS's fault. Mac users should be forced to pay $40 because they chose the non-gaming platform. You made your choice now don't complain about it.KTM880 wrote:I don't want windows it sucks, i've had 3 windows computers and all of them just sucked, the laptop i got had serious problems straight out of the box and no one from microsoft would help or from the shop. Re: MXS for Mac
I do intend to create a native Mac port eventually. Nagging is harmless but won't speed it up either.Stickerz wrote:Why bump it? you found a fucking solution..
