No Collisions For Supercross Qualifying

Post by DJD »

Before I blow my brains out. 75% of people who play this game have no clue how to ride around other riders. Every race in the Sx server is an absolute goontastic retard party.

I understand Mxs is difficult to play, and everyone has their gooned out moments, but holy christ, most of these kids are just insane.

Its absolutely ridiculous. Just make two servers with no collisions or something....please....Im begging you.

Just as everyone has the right to play on the servers, everyone should have the right to put in their best laps without being killed by retards.

Just sayin,

I think being required to sign up before loggin in to 02 would fix it. No idea if that's possible.

Fix it? Not a chance. Maybe help slightly for a few days before everybody just signs up to get in even though they have no chance. Enjoy your Supercross everyone.

Once again I got my qualifying time in in under 5 races this week. Just gotta be smarter than the idiots out there...

I spent 30 minutes offline figuring out which lines i was going to use for the race and got a 55.9.

Go on the server, constantly get killed by crazy dipshits and can barly do a 56. It would be so much easier for everyone with no collisions.

In real life, riders treat qualifying like practice, not a full race. Its just annoying how kids jump back onto the track, constantly get in the way, and treat it like a race they think they can win.

I have the worst luck ever too.

I wish we had some sort if license. It would make it so much better.

I already proposed that to rf and they declined it 'til there were more users so that we can keep the gates full for the supercross races, but once we grow they will look into it :)

My suggestions for aggressive lapper restrictions didn't go over well. Maybe this might go over better.

I hate to argue with you, but because I'm so cautious on the first few laps, I end up always in there pile, and I seem to not be able to get away from them until the last couple laps.

If I'm lucky enough. At about 10 pm here. Joe's server is pretty much empty. :P but yeah I fully support this.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have a 1:08 on atlanta, so take it at face value:

Even at my pace, I can usually ride my 8 laps without getting hit from behind, but I have trouble getting in a single clean lap without hitting someone that cross jumps to keep their position. Would it be any better if the scoring was disabled on 02 during the week?

I mean if there was no positions, and you just get 10 minutes from gate drop to checkers, maybe everyone would chill the f*ck out and just ride for lap times instead of blocking all the time. I dunno, just a thought. I even saw the leader pull off last night so that the 4 or 5 of us he just lapped could have one more hot lap. It really seems like on 02 the fastest people are the least intense and everyone outside the top 50 times is pretty sure it's a points race.

for about 4h ago i was starting to get my fast laps down, it took me 3h to get the lap i wanted. yeah 3 fucking HOURS!!! Well i got some really horrible luck too with ppl crashing infront of me... but yeah i got my 58.1 with the 250f and now i'm pleased becouse i now i can't get any better lap. And i don't even want to try anymore becouse of ppl that are in the server becouse they are racing for the win, i don't care if i finish 1st or 20th i just want my best lap i can do.

There is the problem, there are ppl that are in the server and are racing for the win.

Thanks, Motofinne

There should be 2 servers one for riders outside 110% and one for in the 110%(theoretically speaking numbers may need to be adjusted) if the fastest time recorded is a 55 then everyone beleow say a 1.05 can be allowed to access a seperate server. This seperates the gooners from the ones that realistacally have a chance and still keeps it realistic. The problem with no collisions is simple, you practice with no collisions you will race like you was with out collisions(the mind set of most people).

Time will show that maybe as soon as next season there will be such a class of riders that the full top 40 will be classy enough to respect each other, right now you only see that within the top 10 in points those guys race each other hard but with great respect. Outside the top 10 i understand may not have the best control over the bike and many take-outs are mistakes but as the community grows you may soon see were the top 20 guys ride within 3 seconds of each other :P

If we can't (won't) disable collisions for qualifying, I think that the server should limit the amount of people allowed on the track to 10. Then, next "race,", 10 more get to go and anyone else on the server goes to warm-up mode. It would simply take limiting the amount of people who can "race" at once, and perhaps a message that says "qualifying" at each restart to emphasize that it is not a race.
