I was just thinking and I don't know whether or not this has been suggested(if it was then ignore) but because we can't feel our bikes and it gets hectic in a ground to hear your bike I think some sort of vibration would work well.
Like if your low in your rpm's the vibration is very limited and barely noticeable. But if you just crack the throttle on a 450 and dump the clutch the controller should vibrate quite alot until the power smooths out. So you can tell if your in the power or it's time to shift etc. And anywhere in between the vibration would be proportional. obviously this would only work on controllers with the vibration capabilities but it would be cool.

Do controller vibrations even vary in speed? I thought they were on or off

Pretty sure the Xbox ones have 2 different ones - One is larger weight that spins slower, one is a small one that spins really fast - and they don't vary from that.

Somewhat, for example on my ps3 when I play bf3 there are small vibrations when shooting but when are grenade or explosive goes off near you there is a noticeable change in vibration. Not as much as I would like to see but there is.DJ99X wrote:Do controller vibrations even vary in speed? I thought they were on or off
Maybe also we could have it on a time/rpm basis. As in when your at 3000rpms theres a 0.5 second space between vibrations that last for 3 seconds. Then 0.5 second space for vibrations that last 4 seconds at 4000 rpm. That would be hard though because you are very rarely riding that consistent for that long, so maybe to hard. I'm sure something can be done there though.

If this Idea would be possible, I think it'd be pretty sick...

True and false, they do have two..one which feels like fast vibration and one which feels a bit more erm chunky, but you can still control the speed of both independently.CrazyCanadianMX wrote:Pretty sure the Xbox ones have 2 different ones - One is larger weight that spins slower, one is a small one that spins really fast - and they don't vary from that.
