Just record at high fps and slow it down in your editing software.

Try the ffmpeg recording script. Runs at slow motion to get the right framerate.

Goodness. Just slow down your 'slow mo button' footage, then.

Goodness. It would be smoother if it was a seperate button.

Is it really at such a low framerate when you just continuously step it forward? I would think that it would be pretty good.

I personally have to record at a locked FPS of 25 with Fraps, because anything higher gets that lagg/skip effect which I hate. I have yet to try the ffmpeg, but If I can than that may work out a bit better I suppose.
