Qualifiers for rF nationals 37th-last

Post by Ddavis »

In real life the top 36 qualify then everyone else runs a 4 lap qualifier where 4 qualify. Racefactory ever consider two qualifiers right before the races? A simple 4 lap qualifier where top 4 make it. Discuss your thoughts on this without flaming.

one problem is, its not like they know for sure who will actually show up. 1-40 of actual qualifying spots i dont think have ever shown up. someone always bales.

It's a suggestion, I bet there is some way to work this into happening if they wanted to.

im not saying i dont like your suggestion. i mentioned it to them weeks before nationals started that the ama was bringing those back. but the way things are done now, it just wouldnt work.

we could spend an entire night, and completely replicate the national day. timed qualifying, to consi's, to the motos. so thats 8 15 minute practice/qualifying sessions. then approximately 2 15 minutes consis. so thats what, 2 1/2 hours of stuff before the mains? so then add about another 2 hours and 40 minutes to get mains done. we would need a solid 6 hours i think to complete a full replicated schedule. would be so awesome, but i dont see this ever happening. maybe it could be split between 2 days. i know ive spent more than 6 hours playing a game in a night before. hell ive pulled all nighters im sure. but theres probably many people that wont or cant.

I don't want the exact qualifying sessions and all that, I was just thinking something like this.
Track released Monday night
Qualifying ends 4PM Pst Thursday
UIDs grabbed for 37th-last at 4:15PM
Lites Qualifier at 4:25 (Ends around 4:35)
Premier Qualifier around 4:40 (Ends 4:50)
5pm UIDs grabbed for Lites class (Top 36, then if people don't show up it's the alternates from the LCQ)
7pm UIDs grabbed for Premier class (Top 36, etc ^^^^)
Then everything starts normal after that. I personally think it'd be better to have Lites moto 1, 450 moto 1, Lites moto 2, 450 moto 2, etc.. to be honest it's pretty stressful on your eyes staring at a computer for an hour + 4 laps

And what about those people who don't have time to race 5 hours a day like some people? For example, I get home like 15 minutes before id's get pulled for 250's on Thursday. I'm usually qualified in the 30-40 margin but I score points on a pretty consistent basis.

That's why I don't see this as something that is feasible. And the fact that I think the ama is retarded for going back to that setup.

Not to mention who would be willing to run an event starting at 415 every Thursday til the mains are done? I don't think your suggestion was well thought out on that part, devin

i think the only way it would work out is to have all the qualifying done by wednesday night. but then people will complain that they didnt get enough time to practice.

I think Prada always secretly tries low-blow insults, just like half of this fucked up community.

Tell me how to lighten "the fuck" up since I was so harsh on you. Grow up, you think everything at you is an insult. I was simply pointing that out because you clearly didn't think that through.
