Newbie Server

Post by SMR 510RR »

I dont know if this, or something like this has been proposed before but it seems like it would make a lot of sense to me.

I think it would be great to have a newbie server that is accessible to everyone right as they buy the game. Then new riders would have somewhere to race without getting in the way and causing problems with more experienced riders. I think it would also be great to make them race in that server for a while (possibly make them win 5 races or something) before stepping up to the main servers. It would be cool to have a mix of the stock tracks, national tracks, and supercross so that they get some experience with all the aspects of MX sim with other riders of the same ability. It would also allow them to have a place to practice with others without being overwhelmed with the faster riders, it was intimidating when I started playing for sure.

As the community grows, this will become more and more useful.

19800 is pretty much that. Although, an SX server would be handy

Yeah a noob sx server would be helpful. The fast guys are usually lapping half the pack on their 2nd lap and getting taken out consistently, which leads to raging. A seperate sx/winter indoor server would be nice *coughstormzcough*

I realize that but its a tough transition from the stock tracks to the national tracks that were released this year or the SX tracks. I think this would be good for both the newbies (although they will complain) and the people who are up to speed enough to ride on 02 and 03. I have just started riding on 03 myself (after playing for over a year) and it is hard, one race I will be top 5 next race I will be lapped on lap 4...There are just so many tracks to learn its hard to be race pace on all of them.
