turn off pitboard

Post by Nikhil »

Could we get an option to only show the pitboard once per lap? It distracts me too much while I'm riding, I find myself checking it too often and then making a mistake because I was distracted. It'd be nice to have the option to have it display just once (like at the finish, or wherever the real pitwall would be on the track).

Would be more of a distraction when it did pop up for me.

I believe JLV intends to allow some outside scripting for things like menus and HUD's and things of that nature at some point. But I remember reading that over two years ago, so maybe things have changed.

LOL. Search JLV's posts for "scripting" It's scary.

Here's to hoping he finds the time!

That's why I'm saying it should be an option. And I'm sure it would be simple to implement.

I've mentioned this in the past. Find an area in the timing gates that is for the pit board and in that selected area of the track it pops up, I find myself looking at it too often as well. Half the time I crash because I'm looking at it rather than the track.
