My suggestion is that jlv should add moderators and admins to the forums. With the addition of moderators and admins jlv will be able to spend less time monitoring the forums and more time working on new features for sim!
Obviously jlv will have to choose people who he can trust that won't take advantage of their power, and just overall responsible. Yes I know it sounds like a lot of work to have people have to approve every new topic before it becomes public, but if jlv chooses enough people than it won't be as big a problem for them. I think their should be some sort of moderator/admin forum with their recent activity that they can only see to help ensure that nobody is abusing their power. I would volunteer myself to help approve topics for the community, but unfortunately people hold grudges and I am pretty sure some people are still mad at me *ehem Mason ehem* or atleast don't trust me after my amazing April fools joke.
Here is a list of some duties I had in mind for each position...
MODERATORS:
-Prevent stupid topics from going public.
-Making sure a topic is in the correct category before being submitted to the community.
-Flagging users that spam, start fights or behave inappropriately so that the admins can determine if they deserve some sort of penalty such as a daily post limit, a ban, or crushed dissenter.
-The ability to grant topic editing rights, move a topic, close a topic, and delete an inappropriate post/topic if necessary.
-Elsinore servers Marshall privileges.
ADMINS:
-Everything a moderator does.
-Give a user a daily post limit.
-Temporarily ban a user.
-Crush a dissenter.
-Uncrush a dissenter (Not sure why this would ever happen).
-I don't know how jlv is going to feel about this next, hell either love it or hate it. Resend somebody their regkey to their original email.
-Add a new moderator.
-Make a topic a sticky/announcement.

That's all I can think of at the moment, I'm certain that I'm forgetting some people/duties, and if you can think of any I missed please add them below.
