How about a small collision (bump) on the starting gate, so it can simulate real life starts. Having to deal with the bump and not just a straight shot "through" the gate. I was thinking this could also affect/switch up who ever gets hole-shots every time. Make things interesting.

Re: Starting Gates
This can be done, but is up to track makers to implement. With the collision for the gate being spheres, it may not work quite as well as you think though.

Re: Starting Gates
I think it would be easier and work better if it is done in the terrain. You could make a pit and then cover it with a model so that when you went over it you would get that little bump.

Re: Starting Gates
wouldnt a little pit have no effect? i mean make a little bump not a pit and it will kick your front end up if you try and pin it, i think a little pit the bike will just go over it without a problem, but i think a little lip would work perfectly and would give it that bounce for realism so you will have to some what control the throttle to get the best start. (may be wrong not well known of the track editor)SMR 510RR wrote:I think it would be easier and work better if it is done in the terrain. I was thinking about this for Rf races. I mean it would be different, might work might not work but we won't know until we try it.wheels1758 wrote:This can be done, but is up to track makers to implement.
